Benson and Casper have gone to their second home today, as I am working away for most of this week and poor OH has a heavy workload . They adore it there, and Benson just leapt out of the boot and ran off to play with his buddies, closely followed by his bro Casper. They are based just outside Chepstow, and mainly take retriever/pointer types. If anyone wants their email just message me for their details. They are registered boarders but don't advertise, the good thing is they will take entire males. Re: Home from Home... This afternoon I'm taking Pongo for an overnight stay at this place! Thanks Kate - I'm sure he'll love it. Although I had to think about my answer when Jean asked me 'does he get on with other dogs'.... I had a vivid image of the chaos Pongo causes in any otherwise well-behaved group.... so I said that if anything the problem is that he gets on TOO well with other dogs and he is the size of a small horse.... I really hope he behaves himself! Wish us luck...

Just picked him up. He has had the most wonderful holiday and he just LOVES Jean's dogs. He's now completely flaked out on the sofa (nearly fell asleep sitting up while supervising me cooking dinner). Happy doggie..... thank you so much for the recommendation!
