Hi, Henry is now 8 months old and an all round total delight! Lovely nature, affectionate and well behaved.

Our only issue is that he has suddenly started barking first thing in the morning..This isn't needing to go to the loo...as it is after he has had his morning wee, which happens with no barking or demand for interaction and I go straight back upstairs.
However, we live just on the edge of a bridal path popular with dog walkers. Quite often there are people walking by fairly early and it seems he can hear them and starts barking..This morning at 6am!:(

Is there any way to stop this happening? He doesn't do it at any other time of the day

    Thank for any advice

Can you move his bed further away from the noise? I'm not sure there's an awful lot you can do to stop him barking at a noise, particularly if it wakes him up as it's more of a reflex warning action. Other members may have more ideas

As MaccieD said, can you move his bed further from the noise, if not could he have a radio on so that he doesn't hear the noises? You don't want it to become a habit!

Maybe "clicking for quiet" would help?
By marking barking, you can get round to encouraging quiet.

Who was it did this for barking at mealtimes?.........
