    Hello!

I've been teaching my dog to get out to the backyard/garden to do her business by pushing the screen door ( this is very light). Have you guys done this? She knows how to knock though, we are still trying to teach her to get out by herself by giving treats but no luck yet. Haha!

Don't worry our garden has high gates, they won't be able to get out.

Teach your dog to target your palm. Once that is working, put a post it on your palm. Reinforce nose touches on post it. Then transfer the post it label to your screen door. Reinforce generously

Our Lab quickly broke the screen on our door, so we replaced it with one that has a dog door in it. Fortunately the dog door has a removable cover because sometimes we don’t want her going outside, like when it’s wet and muddy.
