our pepper is going to socialise this weekend with another puppy same age do we need to restrict them for running around in the garden or on the beach, or will they figure out themselves when enough is enough? This will not involve any traning! Thanks Philipp
Puppies aren't great at deciding when enough is enough, so I'd step in if things seem to be getting out of hand or you think the pups have been playing for long enough. When you say this won't involve any training...the thing is that although it's great fun for a young puppy to play with another puppy, it is also a great opportunity for them to learn that playing with other dogs is a lot more interesting than their humans. Which, ideally, is not something you want them to learn. So it would be good to do a bit of training eg interrupting play, recall away from play, focus on a human instead of another dog and so on.
Dear julie , Thank you for the advise , ok I will follow that, while I written it out pepper decided herself to have a rest and her heart was racing like a train, I think everything a little overwhelming after been locked up for so Long after the cpv, delayed vacation need some time to adjust. Thanks Philipp
