How long to walk a puppy?

Our pup can go out in Sunday. Does the 5 mins per month including just a casual walk or is that just activity?

So could I take him say a 30 min casual walk and 10 mins chasing a ball etc, or is it strictly 10 mins max?

 

If he is 8 or 9 weeks 30 min is too long.
