Lemmy has a few. Lem, little sh*t ( normally when he has run off something) lemster ,lemmybong, Mr boots, chunk, songs he likes are do the wee wee song. And when having scratchy belly badger badger song ( you tube Brian may lol) and poopy poopydy do everyone knows his name ( sung to tune of Rupert the bear and only when I'm alone and he's all cwtched up. ) Mums dog is Dylan And my late father insisted on calling him Dylas that somehow got changed to Phyllis caused much confusion when he walked away from people and Dylan displayed possibly largest shiniest testicles in world! Our cat is Pushka as my son said she looks like Russian hat! She has her own song he sings to her she lays on her back as he sings "Pushka the Russian hat cat with her belly so fluffy and her face so flat. " ( she's a Persian ragdoll) lol God its true animal lovers really are crackers lol.

We also have a selection of songs we sing that have been adapted to include one or more of the above names .... I WONT be supplying videos ;D
Just the mp3 then? No? You have to at least give us the lyrics!

I thought of another one for Willow - Nutter Butter.
I can't believe I'm 'fess of up to these....you may be perturbed!

In the vein of a football chant.... :

We love you Dexter we do,
We love you Dexter we do,
We love you Dexter we do,
Oh Dexter we love you!
( we got caught at the lights tonight by another motorist singing this one)

The Ugly Duckling child's rhyme tune :

There once was a Mr Pops and Dexter was his name
And he was a Mr Pops and everyone knew his name
Cha cha cha ( my nephew added the cha cha cha!)

This is more a chant than a song too:

He's a Pops,Hes a Pops he's a Mr Pops,
He's a Mr Popsicle!

Right no more, the rest are just as bad! ;D

Re: How many names?

Am soooooooooo looking forward to the videos of all these songs ! ;D

Riley has had a few extra names over time. The one that's really stuck in various guises is Bupsy DaCola which gets shortened to Bupsy or Bups. He's been known as puppydog and Inspector DaCola too as he's so nosey.

Oberon is obviously Obi for short. Sometimes he's Obi pup pup or Obi spaniel. Occasionally I just call him Spaniel too. Having something other than my lovely lab is proving a novelty ;D

Re: How many names?

"The Chicken Of Love".....? ;D

Obi gets:

Mister
Mister Man
Little Man
Furry Features
Dog
Oboe
Obes
Naughtiness
Mister Naughtiness

Obi has a song too. The lyrics are:

"Little Man, Little Man, Little Man, Little Man, Little Man, Little Man, Little Man."

I guess the interest lies more in the tune than the lyrics.... In answer to your question - no.

Our first dog, Nicolae's song went:

"Wiggly woggly
Wiggly woggly
Wiggly woggly
Wiggly woggly
Wiggly woggly
Wiggly woggly
Wiggly woggly doggly"

Again, perhaps more interesting in the live rendition. It's still a no.

I really think you should put that one forward as Britain's next entry in the Eurovision Song Contest. It has so much going for it.

"Chicken of Love" roflol

Nothing quite as interesting here -
Mirapup
Pupster
Muckster Pupster
Puppygirl
Floppy Chops
Wee besom (a derogatory Scots word reserved for when she has been naughty and mischievous!)

Tarka has Tarklemuffin which became Muffin and Muffy
Lochan has greedy face and podge

They both seem to respond to "c'mon girlies" or even "oi you two" if they are being naughty

Re: How many names?

Oh its such a relief I am not alone on ridiculous songs...this is Brodick's song, no idea why or how it was made up, but its stuck and one of my friends has been known to sing it to him on Princess Street on a busy Saturday afternoon.

its often sung while doing a swift high step march round the lounge with him, which makes him very excited:

he's Big
he's Strong
his Tail Is Very Long
Its Brodddddick
Sing Brodiiiiiiiccccccckkkk
The Bravest Labrador in the park

Obviously heavily ironic on the last line

And no as well

I know. Add a wind machine, a trio of goth metal backing singers and silver sequined hot pants all round and I'd say we have a winner.
