Thanks Pippa, I'll try to do an update of The Chart in the next few days!

A few more weights for Lola, can't remember which I've already posted so this is all of them:

    9 weeks - 4.8kg
    10 weeks - 5.3kg
    14 weeks - 8.3kg
    15 weeks - 9.1kg
    16 weeks - 9.6kg

Definitely a dainty girl - I'm so glad I've seen this thread and seen the range of weights as people often think she's quite a lot younger than she is when we're out, or comment that their puppies were much bigger at her age, and I think without any other reference that would be worrying me a bit. As it is, I know she's fine :)

Haha, my two are ten months and 19.6kg (Shadow) and 19kg (Willow). I think 15kg at 16 weeks sounds fine ;)

Seriously, though, there's a massive spread in builds and weights, so I just go on the advice: you should be able to see a good tuck-in at the waist when viewed from above; see a good tuck-up when viewed from the side and, when you feel their ribs, it should feel like they're covered with a blanket. Not a sheet, and not a duvet.

If you're unsure, either check with your vet, or post up a picture of a view from the side and the top if possible and we'll have a look for you :)

Lola is much the same weight as Juno at 9 and 10 weeks of age. Juno usually gained a steady 500g per week. We had a few little blips of extra gain when she has been on restricted exercise but at her last weigh in at 11 months she was 25kg which seems a good weight for her. If Lola is gaining steadily, there's not much to worry over. Slow and steady is good :)

Cheers, I'm probably just fussing as I'm a new pup owner as he is a great pup, all legs and paws at the moment:) He isn't that fussed about his food, he isn't really food oriented which is the opposite of everything I read about labradors!

Cupar at 1 year old 26kg. He seems tiny. So not going to be a big lad. I'm just waiting on him filling out a bit.

26kg at 1 year old, isn't all that small. :) How tall is he? You measure from the floor to what would be the withers on a horse.

The UK breed standard is dogs: 56-57 cms (22-221/2 ins); bitches: 55-56 cms (211/2-22 ins).

Charlie is 56.5cm, which is spot on, weighs just 2kg more than Cupar (but easily put a kg or 1.5kg on in bulking out between years one and two) and I don't view him as a small dog. He is not a very heavily built Labrador, but neither is he small, I think.

JulieT I have just measured him. 56cm . He is bigger than Cassie but she is small, only 22 kg and 54cm. I think I compare them to my first labs, the bitches all came in about 27 kg and Jake was about 30 kg +. Maybe not so tiny after all. Thanks.

Maisie is really growing! I think she's trying to make up for being slightly smaller than her age as she has now surpassed puppies who are two months older than her (Willow and Shadow!). She is 8 months and just about 21kg or 46 lbs!

Maisie sounds a nice weight. Juno was much the same at 8 months and now goes 24kg at a year old - she lost 0.5kg in the last month which I was pleased about, not because she was too heavy but so she is nice and slim for her ED.

My Ellie is proper "fatty" comparing to your pups - she's 5 months old & weights 21kg...& doesn't look fat at all. I guess she'll be much bigger than her mum.

Ziva now 4 and 1/2 months weighed in this morning at 13.2k

The most important part is that Ellie looks trim - they all grow at different rates. I was lucky with Juno as her weight gain was steady week on week so I could pretty much predict her weight for each trip to the vet for a weigh-in. She could easily carry another 1 or 2 kg as she is a big girl but deliberately working to keep her slimmer. ;)

My Breeder told me that Maui was 12 pounds when they took her to the vet at 7/8 weeks. When I went to get her at almost 9 weeks, I thought she would be a lot smaller than she was. She weighed in at the vet at a little over 9 weeks at 18.2 pounds. As I look at her this morning, I swear she's doubled in size ... mostly length, she's certainly not fat! LOL!! She sees the vet again for her third round of shots on 7/6 and the Vet 'guessed' she would be 25 pounds. We'll have to see! Here's a picture of her this morning at just 12 weeks old! She's such a love!
