We weighed Ella at the vet today... 10 weeks and 10.4kgs! She's going to be huge, just look at those paws!
Wow - its amazing how different they can be - thats 2.5kg more than Murphy - he is already looking more like a leaner lab like his dad rather than his mum who was more chunky!
I know, it's crazy how different they can be. Ella's mum and dad are both big stocky labs with the big square heads (that's the easiest way to describe them but I'm sure there's a proper name) so I expect she'll probably be the same. She was one of three puppies in her litter so I wonder if small litter size had anything to do with her larger size?
Willow is only about 20kg at 11 months, too. I need to get her weighed again but both mine are little things
My Mazie is 9 weeks old and weighs 11.3 lbs (5.1kg). She was the runt of the litter. Her mom is an American Lab and her dad is a European Lab so I'm not sure what her build will be.
Just been to the vet to have Juno's regular weigh-in and she is a little heavier than last month at 24.2kg but I'm happy as her weight now seems to be around the 24 to 24.5 kg level so think I may have cracked the daily quantity of Hill's Special Diet. I expected her to be a little heavier after our holiday to Brittany as she did have a few more treats than normal - the downside of BBQing and eating on patio chairs, but Juno certainly liked BBQ prawns
I'd enjoy bbq prawns too!Glad you've got her amounts and condition balanced,it can take a little bitmofmjugglimg until you work out exactly what suits x
Mazie had her vet appointment last night. She is now 10 weeks old and 12.8 lbs (5.8 kg)....she's growing well
Bentley was just under 9kg when we brought him home aged 8 weeks, now at 8 months he weighs 26kg. He loves his food but he is a working lab and looks quite lanky.
