No not at all I took her to the vet a few days after we got her just to get her registered and to get a check up (though the breeder said she was in good health I wanted my vet to check her over as well) and he said she was very healthy and wasn't worried about her weight...when we go back in a month he said he expects her to be double the size. Our next appointment is next week and she is well on her way haha She was at the vet a week after her first appointment for a suspected UTI and she had already gained weight...she was 4.3 kg at that point and I know she weighs much more now, its getting more difficult to carry her outside from her crate in the morning! haha
Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Buddy at 7 months is 23 kg but has still lots more growing to do. I'm only concerned about his weight so I can work out how much wormer he needs!

There are 27 different dogs reflected here. I've not been clever enough to label each data point with the dogs names, but if you know your own dog's weight you ought to be able to suss out where they are in the 'pack'. I thought it was quite interesting that there is such a clear band - only two real outliers (Otis and hd's E are both lighter than most at 52 weeks). I'm not a statistician though, so maybe someone else who knows more about numbers can give a better interpretation!

Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Murphy got weighed today whilst he was at vets for worming/flee treatments. He's 20 weeks today and weighs 16.1 kg. I'm very happy with his progress, not too fat, not too thin
Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Had second vet visit with Edsel today for shots and check. At first appt on May 2 at just over 10 wks his weight was 6.8 kg. He's 14 wks today and 10.5 kg. He's from working stock and as many of you know, quite active. Bordering on nuts at times! He looks quite fit and seems healthy. I am pleased! I'm sure he feels his food intake should be tripled. Sometimes think I've got a little black goat instead of a pup! Lori & Edsel

Ruby weighed 5.1kg at 8 weeks and was 8.2kg at her last weigh in this week, she's now 12 weeks. we were worried for a while that she was too skinny, but keep a close eye on her body score, and she's energetic, happy and healthy, so hopefully all going well It's easy to think you are underfeeding when they virtually inhale their food!!

Seems on the higher side , but doesnt look fat , but yes he could loose a couple of kilos for sure . Recently met up with 8 of his siblings he seems pretty average though so am not really worried . @Rosie Thats a handy chart really .

Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Well, Pongo is 6 months old today and has just weighed in at 25kg. Heavy boy! The heaviest of the group at that age. But he seems to be a good shape, a nice waist from above and to the side, and I can feel his ribs pretty easily, so I'm not worrying too much.
