Re: How much does your puppy weigh? My Odin is 36 kg and he is 9 months old, although, he is from American working lines.
Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Benson is now 9 months old and now 28kg, looking a little leggy again, I guess this may be his final growth spurt (height-wise)

Re: How much does your puppy weigh? It is so interesting. Have any of you been asked to join dogslife? They are a university study looking at height, weight, food & illness in Labradors. They are using kennel club puppies so invited Ash to join. Every 3 months I have to enter his data and answer questions. I think it's a fab project.

Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Cooper is 20 weeks old and weighed in at 42.2 POUNDS (I'm in the U.S.)
Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Daisy is 14 weeks and 29.1 pounds (13.2 kg). She's about 17.5 inches at the shoulders, which I think is about 44.5 cm (2.54 cm = 1 inch, right?). I'd like to know the heights of the various puppies, as well as their ages and weights. It would make comparisons easier. Rosie, got time to maintain three charts??

[/quote] Hee hee! ;D I think a three-dimensional chart is beyond me (or rather, beyond the capabilities of my basic excel skills....). If anyone else is up for it I can let you have all the age / weight data we've got so far....
Re: How much does your puppy weigh? I have a question/ concern on my Labrador's weight. Crosby is 10 months old, unaltered male. We have been taking him to the vet every month for a weight check, to dosage his heartworm meds. He has not been putting weight on very quickly, and at 10 months only weighs 46 pounds. ( We live in the US). He is an English Lab, and I know they don't get as tall, but he is very short and small for his age. The vet doesn't seem concerned that he is not gaining...just says he is probably so active he is burning it all off during the summer. She thinks his body condition is good. When he was 3 months of age, the vet switched him from his puppy formula kibble to a special one for some intestinal difficulties and food sensitivities. I am wondering if the lack of the proper puppy nutrition has altered his growth? We have taken him off the vet food and now he is eating Blue Basics for sensitivities....he still eats 3 times a day, because he eats so fast that the larger amount given for twice a day feeding was sometimes making him vomit it all back up. So, in a nutshell, he gets one cup of dry food 3 times a day, and other treats on walks, etc....Of course, like any lab, his appetite is huge, and he is always hungry! I am wondering if I should try mixing a little puppy formula kibble in with his meals? It is higher in fat....which he couldn't tolerate when he was younger. But, maybe just a fourth cup at each meal, and see if he starts putting weight on???
Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Hi I would say that he sounds like a good weight. Every lab is different in height and weight. My pup Harley is 1 at the weekend and weighs about 26kg (57lbs). She won't get much bigger. My friends lab who is the same age and is (30kg) 66lbs. He is much bigger than Harley. As long as you can see his ribs (but not sticking out) and he has a waist, I would say he's fine. All labs would make you think they were starved if you let them
Re: How much does your puppy weigh? Nelson is 26 weeks and weighs 20 kgs. Vet very pleased with him, excellent shape.
