I was at the vet today, Merlin weighs 33 kg at 10 months. It suits him perfectly.

Xena's almost 21 months and for the past few months seems to be stable at 23 kg. I still chuckle when I remember the breeder insisting that she should be 30 kg.

My chocolate girl is 23 weeks old, and 14.8kg / 32.56 pounds. Quite tall but very skinny.

When he was a young pup we were a little concerned that he was too small, especially after comparing him with some of the heavier pups on this thread. Were we doing something wrong? Not feeding him enough? Neglecting him in some way?

But now we are so pleased with his size and weight. He's easy enough to pick up when needed. He's slim, muscular, athletic and fast on the retrieve. He looks just great, in better shape than his dad :)

My message to anyone with a small pup at x weeks old, who might have similar thoughts: "Don't worry! Your pup will be just fine! :) "

Our 16 week old boy was 36 pounds on a scale at the vet a few days ago. Starting to become very noticeable when he comes running and jumps on to your lap as if he things he is a lap dog or something.

Feeding him large breed Fromm puppy food and really trying to regulate his weight. We carefully calculate what we give him for food and treats (just kibble) and subtract from his meals. He eats other things too though like snow, leaves, twigs, and the other day, tried to eat his bed. :(

Caspar 16 weeks and 12.7kg. Trying to keep him on the slim side, but may need to increase his food a bit.

Our 7 month old fox red lab rescue mix (hound, but not sure what type) weighs about 48 pounds. He is very slim and full of muscle! He's just the right size where we can still pick him up if he's being naughty!

I thought he was doing really well at 22 weeks being 16.5kg, but seems that is a bit light. Very tall though. He does look healthy though according to images of what he should look like.

Same! I think Stanley was about 12kg at 22 weeks. He was so cute and small I just couldn't deal with him.

I thought Rosie was a bit small. I keep getting told she was the runt of the litter(I got her at 5mths). Well she's 9mths now and just had a vet visit. "you could back off her food a bit" was what I was told. She weights in at 54.9lbs (24.9kg) I think most of that 'food' was treats.

They vary so much, you really can’t compare, what looks healthy on one dog would look unhealthy on another. Axel was 24kg at 22 weeks and he was tall and slim and in ideal body condition for him, if he had weighed much less it would have looked like I was starving him.
