Brody our 8month old English chocolate is 68lbs... We can still feel his ribs when you run your hands along his chest. He's going to be a big boy

:D Would love a picture of them beside each other. They are both basically the same as far as body shape, Axel is just a horse.

I have been wanting to ask you and others, has Shadow changed much from 2 years old until now as far as filling out goes? I feel like Axel still has some filling out to do but maybe I’m wrong. He just turned 2 in December:)

I thought the same - Shadow would probably fit underneath Axel like a set of stacked coffee tables :)

No, he's changed very little. He did get a bit porky when J was left in charge of the dogs while I was travelling, and his muscle development changes a lot between summer and winter, but in general he's been pretty stable since about 2 years. I think he still looks quite young. I'll try to get some decent shots of him tomorrow to show his current build.

Ok thank you:) I’ve been finding it difficult to take a good picture of Axel against the snow, he’s too dark so you can’t pick out anything besides his tummy tuck up:rolleyes:

Mine was only 1.9kg at 9 weeks so he'll have been less than 3.2 at 10.

    He's nearly 2 now and a healthy 24.5kg :)

Thank you for the reply it has put my mind at rest. Has been a long time since I last had a lab. My last dog was an American Anita but sadly we list her at age 14 just before Christmas.

My pup was tiny at this age too, 2.2 kilos at 9 weeks, then he lost some at 11 to 12 weeks as he was very poorly. He's a tall and slim 28 to 29 kilos now.
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your older dog, I hope your new pup helps you to heal and create new memories.

It was hard because he was being wriggly this morning! Here were the best attempts. He’s standing squiffy do you can’t really see his muscle. I must train him to stack one day (never gonna happen) :D

Hi all hope you’re all okay?
Bit concerned about my pups weight. She is 22 weeks old in 2 days and she weighs 18kg. She has grown so fast I’m struggling to remember her as a pup. Is this weight normal? I don’t remember my Sadie weighing this much as a pup.

Moose is 10 weeks, weighed in at 19 lbs. (8.6 kg). The vet said he's at the perfect weight, you can see a bit of a waist developing.
