Ziggy the black Lab was 10kg at 10 weeks, 13.6 at 12 weeks and now he is a massive 21.6kg at 16 almost 17 weeks.

Vet says he is going to be a big boy, he isn’t particularly fat and still has a waist but has oodles of loose skin to grow into.

He has a temperament to die for.

Update on Ziggy the lardo lab, went into the vet today to weight him again.

25kg (55lb) on the knocker, 19 weeks old tomorrow.

If the averages are right, as in their weight between 18 & 20 weeks is half their adult weight, Ziggy is going to be a monster!

He isn’t fat, still loads of loose skin and big feet.

Such a doofus, but I do call him Lardo when I have to lift him in and out of the car.

Waverly is now 9 months old and 93lbs (I suck at conversion I think it is 42.19ish kg)

I've never seen such big feet!!!

The vet estimates 100-110lbs full grown.

Same here! Waverly is going through a big sleep cycle again and I'm just like please please please not another growth spurt even though her vet is saying yep another one. Well I always did say I want a big dog. Guess I'm getting my wish. LOL.

    Haha lol!

Luna was the second smallest of the litter and we thought we would get a nice small lab ... she is now the biggest by far and still going! We love her all the same but she doesn't understand why she cant be a lap dog anymore

Weighed Ziggy at the vet on Saturday.

22 weeks old and he is now 29.6kg or 65 lb.

Did I get a Newfoundland instead of a Lab??

I was surprised too. My boy is 15.6 lbs at 11 weeks. Hoping he will be stocky as he comes from English lineage. His Dad is tank. We just had him in the vet for his second set of vaccinations yesterday.

My boy is a working/field type. His weight in kg has pretty much tracked his age in weeks since he was about 12wks old. He is a heavy boy but is tall and proportionately built (has a ‘tuck’ etc).

    8wks - 6kg
    10wks - 9kg
    12wks - 11kg
    14wks - 13kg
    18wks - 17kg
    22wks - 21kg
    29wks -30kg (!)
