Polly was 8.6 lbs at 8 weeks and is now 13.3 lbs at 10 weeks, 5 days. She seems enormous to me due to the rapid growth but she's on the small side. She's from American field lines so not unexpected. Sometimes it seems all the growth is in her legs--she's like a slinky black panther.
Hi Everyone When we picked our puppy up at 8weeks he was 4.0kg. He is now 15 weeks and weighs 7.1kg. I am worried this is too small, even though he eats loads.. The vet wasn’t worried but I do because we’ve had sickness once and his poos can be really bad at times. I’m worried if I over feed him this will continue.
Chewie is a 10 week working/show line mix. Here’s his weight so far: 8 weeks: 15.8 lbs 7.2 kg 9 weeks: 17.2 lbs 7.8 10 weeks: 21.5 lbs 9.8 kg
My youngest was just 250g when she was born. She's now 6 months old and weighs 18Kg. My adults are between 22 and 25Kg.
Our black lab is the chunkier kind, known as the English lab. She has big paws and a thick tail. Rosie is 12 weeks old today and weighs 16 pounds.
Buster was 12 lbs / 5.5 kg at 8 weeks. Today he is 11 weeks and weighed in at 22 lbs / 10 kg. The vet said he is definitely “big boned!” English/show lines, parents not huge... Our previous lab Buddy was a huge American/field type and 100+ lbs as an adult.
Our chocolate lab was 15.8 pounds at 8 weeks, and is now 32.2 lbs at 14 weeks. Our vet says he's healthy - just big!
My yellow lab pup Subbu is 7months old and 70 pounds. He was 13 pounds when I brought him home at 8 weeks old. Vet says he is healthy and very lean. His dad is 80lbs and mom is about 65lbs. But this boy would probably grow to be much larger. Pictures of him when I brought him home and taken on his 7month birthday. [/IMG]
Teddy, a male Chocolate English (show) line was 14.5 lbs at 8 weeks when we brought him home. Now at 17 weeks he’s just north of 40 lbs. His dad was 85 lbs so we'll see where Teddy lands. His paws are still enormous compared to is body. I can’t believe how fast they grow. It’s a struggle now to pick him up!
