    Hi all,

Little Judah is 9 weeks tomorrow and only 5.2lbs so he is pretty darn small. When I picked him up @8 weeks he pretty much started climbing the stairs on Day 2 as I live on the second floor. He is pretty fearless.

Also, I take him on a decent walk through the grass around the apt complex in the morning, prob about .4 miles or so and he doesn’t complain or refuse to walk or anything. Is this ok? He seems happy and healthy.

Appreciate any advice as this is my first puppy!

Have a read of this. You don’t want to set your puppy up with potential hip problems in the future.
Also is your puppy fully vaccinated? If not he shouldn’t be in a public open space on the ground yet.
There is lots of information for new puppy owners on the labrador site.
