We have a 10 week old lab, boy. we bought him home yesterday. we also have a cat. so far the pup is very interested in the cat and although the cat is curious she is mostly terrified of the pup. after any ideas on how to make this easier for both of them? thanks
I used baby gates so that the cat can get away from the pup when he needs to. Took awhile, but now my dogs are best friends with my kitties. Good luck.
Just make sure the cat can not get cornered and has safe escape routes. Give them plenty of time, they will become pals eventually.
