Leo is 7 1/2 months & I have the same problem with him jumping on people who come to visit & jumping on my 16 yr old grandson when he comes home from school. My grandson was not very cooperative at 1st but I guess he finally got tired of being clobbered as soon as he walked through the door & has learned how to handle it when Leo jumps on him. When he walks in he'll make Leo sit or lie down. Only when Leo complies will he give him a treat & lots of affection. Leo goes completely bonkers though when my husband comes home from work. He literally tries to jump into my husband's arms which is kind of funny b/c my husband is not a big man at all. He's about 5'7" & Maybe 145 lbs soaking wet. If my husband can manage to make his way to the couch, Leo immediately jumps up on his lap, starts throwing himself all over him, chewing on him, & tries to steal his hat off his head. My husband is not trained either...lol. He thinks it's the greatest thing when Leo greets him this way. I keep trying to explain to him that if he allows Leo to do this w/him it will carry over to when people come to visit. My sister came to spend the Thanksgiving week with us. When she 1st arrived I had Leo in his harness w/the lead attached. B/c he's so strong he still managed to get close enough to her to jump on her. She was great though. She told me just turn him loose. Every time he jumped on her she would manage to gently get him down on all fours & would refuse to acknowledge him unless he was sitting & calm. When he behaved properly she gave him lots of love & praise. They got along great the entire week. I'm sure it's going to get better w/time & consistency in the way we handle each situation as it arises.

Hahaha totally agreed husbands cant be trained
Well i guess ignoring and waiting for him to be all fours and calm will do the trick slowly and gradually!!
