It's 21:30 and she has just stopped! I think Lady must have found a stash of "speed" hidden in the field. She has been a nightmare all evening. Into everythng; egging me on to play chase with her quacking duck; throwing herself upide down on the floor and grabbing my ankle; getting the re-cycling out (all of it!); running upstairs (forbidden); hurling all her toys out of the toy box. The list goes on. Anyway - peace at last. Let sleeping dogs lie. ;D
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! ;D ;D I prescribe a cheeky wee glass of something to help you relax David. Does she have a Lambie? Has Choccy Charlie been dissipating his energy via The Network?
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! My question too - does she have a Lambie? Typical evening at my place as well, so you will get no sympathy from me ;D
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! No sympathy here either Hyperactive is cuillin's middle name. My two have just settled on sofas now....must be something in the air
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! Charlie has been strangely quiet...energy dissipation via The Network is a plausible theory... Cheers Lady - first quiet evening in weeks!
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! Well she's snoring gently in her bed this morning. Just about to take her for an early walk so it's revenge time! Come on Lady. Rise and shine!
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! Just got back and yes it is muddy and deep with it. Spent an entertaining few minutes de-mudding her!
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! Oh me too. The first part of our regular walk is just a big struggle through the mud followed by frequent wading through the flood water. Roll on SPRING! Even the sheep are mud coloured and all struggling to find grazing. Farmer friend says his grandfather told him about the sheep many years ago that if he could keep them alive until the end of February they would be fine. So that's the target date - end Feb!
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! I can empathise David , Sam is his usually ploddy self but Millie is also on springs at the moment too , beach this afternoon, weather permitting , I will tire her out
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh!
Farmer friend says his grandfather told him about the sheep many years ago that if he could keep them alive until the end of February they would be fine. So that's the target date - end Feb!
Hmmm... Can we hibernate until then?? That's still an awful lot of mud and wet walks to go. Clare
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! As this is my first winter dog walking I am amazed by the mud! Not only does my dog get me muddy but twice this week I have been covered by other dogs. Serves me right for taking Amy warm meat treats out. Can get the other dogs, just not my own!
Re: Hyperactive - Aaaargh! My 'mud and the dark' rant seems to have overlapped with this David. Guess we are all a bit sick of it.
