Charlie has respect - the most he has ever managed is a third of a loaf of sliced white. He still claims grandad's carefully made home roasted chicken mayo sandwiches as the high of his career so far, even better than the pizza.

Bread (and pizza) seemed to have no ill effects apart from very large poos! ::)

Their ingenuity knows no bounds when it comes to food. I was taking my two to my sisters for a few days when brods was still a wee pup, and had packed three days worth of his puppy kibble in my backpack the night before. Unbeknown to me observed by cuillin, normally the Good Girl of our little pack. In the bath the day we were leaving and suddenly became aware of the hideously worrying Extreme Silence... shot out to investigate to find cuilli had chewed through said backpack and scarfed three days worth of food and was already looking a bit uncomfy. Was very pleased i was going to stay with sister as shes a vet!! By the time we got to sisters she'd ballooned into a tubular shape, was allowed no water, and no activity for most of the day, and minimal rations the next day, and was ok phew...ny two are both deep chested dogs so the bloat potential was a tad worrying for a while!!

Oh yes ,and pretty much nothing so far has been ingested that isn't 'snatched and biologically dispatched' with no ill effects by Simba......,he might not be the 'King of The Jungle' like his namesake ....but he is 'King of The Counter Surf' no hands down xxx

Mentioned it to mark, he said, "Well, I came home yesterday to find a plastic bag on the floor with a big hole in it." Heads swivel to look at Simba, resting innocently on his pillow....

Although...I'm sure this would never happen...but any member of your family can eat anything now, and blame Simba. My brothers used to blame everything of the dog.... ;D ;D ;D
