    Hi All,

My 4 month lab has found a new hobby in jumping up at me inside of an evening, I'm trying my best to ignore the behaviour or to try and distract her with a toy instead but its pretty damn difficult when she keeps coming back for more!!

I know this is most likely a lab trait but does any one have any ideas on how to reduce this behaviour ?!!

    Thank you

There are many different ways of stopping a dog jumping up from turning your back on the dog and ignoring, removing your self from the room for a few seconds, training paws on the floor, training an incompatinle behaviour for when she goes to jump and that's just a few of the methods. It teally depends on what you would like her to do instead and train accordingly.
Oh, it's not a Lab trait I've yet to find a breed that doesn't jump up unless trained not to :)
