    We are now beginning the process of upgrading this forum to new mobile responsive software. This means that you should be able to use the forum on mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.

    This is to let you know that there may be some forum downtime over the next few days, though we will try to keep this to a minimum.

    There is also a possibility that you will need to reset your passwords on the new forum. We'll try not to disrupt you more than we have to. :)

    Really looking forward to 'normal service being resumed.

    Spent sometime yesterday morning very frustrated, cursing me, the Internet and the world in general BEFORE I read Important Notice. It was so good to find out that, just for once, it was not my ineptitude.

    Cannot help noticing the Important Notice has only been read 72 times, and 3 of them were me!

    Sorry Tina, we seem to have lost some posts from yesterday too. We'll try to get everything running smoothly again as quickly as possible. :)

    It would appear that we are back to normal.

    Thanks to all who worked on the project. The disruption was fairly minimal.

    It is lovely to have the Forum back, I have missed you all.

    Huge thank you to all those who put so much effort into running it on a day to day basis. It is such a friendly, informative, supportive place.

    It's not done yet I'm afraid Tina. This is still the old forum. We are testing the new one at the moment, and there will be some downtime today and probably a few wrinkles to smooth out over the next week :)

    We are still on the old software folks, you don't need to worry about passwords yet. The upgrade is currently delayed and there should be no further downtime today.

    Work on the new forum has now been resumed, you are still reading on the old forum, but please expect some 'downtime' over the next few days.
