We've just got home with our 2 yr old lab buddy after a 1 week stay at a kennel while we visit family .
I've noticed an injury on his testies ( it's like a patch of raw skin On the end and seems like it's swollen into one large testie).
I'm really not sure I've never seen this before .
Has anyone had the same thing happen to their lab? Or know what I should do until we can make it to the vet?

Poor boy. Does it look like an abrasion?

I'd just prevent him from licking it before you see the vet. Putting anything on it may make it more difficult for the vet to work out what's going on.

I'd contact the kennel to see if they can explain it.

I agree with Oberon. See what the kennel says and get checked by the vet.

Could be an abrasion from the kennels concrete floor, or a reaction to their disinfectant if he's laid down on the wet floor, or even just an infected insect bite. Best to let the vet have a look.

Like others have said I would talk to the kennel to see if they noticed anything and also talk to the vet. It could definitely be from having different sleeping conditions and maybe lounging around keeping cool on the concrete floor. I hope he is feeling better soon.
