Insect Bite - Swollen Eye Lid

Hey,

My little guy came back inside from playing in the grass and bushes with a swollen inner and top eye lid. I am thinking an insect bite since I noticed the little bite and blood spot.


It is still swollen today - any suggestions on treating the swelling?
I has not been scratching it so far.

If speak to a vet if it's still swollen especially if it's an eye

 

I too would recommend going to the vet. Don't muck about with eye issues - early treatment is really important.

 

My Lab has swollen eyelids at this time of the year, I am sure it is due to insect bite, it usually goes down during the evening. I am a great one for taking my dog to the vet but haven't in this case and he seems fine. He had it last year and a couple of days ago.
