Hi Everyone, My name is Chris. My family got our first English Black Lab in 2011, and this was actually my first ever dog. We instantly fell in love with him and decided we would be a labrador family forever. Unfortunately, our dog got really sick due to aggressive cancer and we had to say goodbye in April. Now, we are looking for a new yellow or chocolate lab, and we are hoping to get some great information from the folks on this message board to help us decide. I loved our previous dog and the breeder, but I am too superstitious to return to the same one after having his life cut so short due to cancer. Either way, I am glad to be here, and I have attached a picture of my late buddy. The pic is from his last day with us on April 15th, 2020, which was three weeks before his ninth birthday.
