Hello all! My son and I just adopted a 7 month old black lab whom we named King Kunta after one of our favorite Kendrick Lamar songs. He is a rescue from the local shelter, apparently he was picked up as a stray on 1/3/18 and my son happened to find him at the shelter that same day. Kunta is exactly what we were hoping for in a pet, so we feel like it was meant to be! As brand new dog owners, we are feeling a little overwhelmed with everything we don't know but are definitely eager to learn. It was exciting to stumble across this site, which has such a wealth of knowledge. I'm looking forward to learning some tips from more experienced owners!
