Hi everyone! Well it has certainly been a bit of a day! Collected Bob this morning, he was a dream in the car on the way home. Got back about midday and he's spent most of the afternoon leaping about the place, nipping at our heels (how do you not tread on dogs?!) and generally settling in. He's finally asleep now in his crate (door open). And my son has just literally gone downstairs and woken him up.. grrrr! Potty wise, we've had 2 pees inside, quickly wiped up and sprayed. And we've been taking him out regularly... we've now had 2 pees and a poop outside.. and rewarded him well for doing so. I've got a massive cardboard box full of vetbed for the first few nights in our room. I had a massive lie in today, feel like that might be my last one in a long while! Vaccinations booked for tomorrow and puppy training classes start on Wednesday! Here are some pics of our new boy! I'm so proud of him I think he's done pretty well today Lou x
Re: Introducing Bob! How exciting! He is a handsome boy. Take lots of photos each week; I was just looking back on mine today and it's amazing to look back. Hope you have a good night
Re: Introducing Bob! Him there Bob ,you are a cutie, hope your first night with your new humans passes ok x
Re: Introducing Bob! Thank you all for your kind wishes! Bob has just taken himself to his crate and fallen asleep bless him. What a good little boy. I got medium sized kongs for him and the cream cheese and banana went down well.. altho he could only get 1/2 way down the kong. Should I get some puppy ones do you think? I don't think his little tongue can get all the way down them! Lou x
Re: Introducing Bob! Bob is adorable! He looks so much like my little Willow, although a little leggier. I have the medium sized puppy kongs for her, and she can still only get her tongue in some of the way. If the filling is gloopy, I just whack it on my hand a few times to bring the remainder to the front so she can get in. She's currently munching her way through a tuna and grated cheese one. Yummers! Welcome to your new home, little Boblington. I'm sure you'll all be very happy together. Here's to a good first night!
Re: Introducing Bob! He is scrumptious! Hope things continue to go well, enjoy the pupster while he is still so little!
Re: Introducing Bob! Welcome handsome little Bob. Hope he settles in quickly. Look forward to hearing of all his puppy antics
