    Hi Everyone,
Our next pup is due to be born in a few days, and if all goes well / on time, we should be bringing the new arrival home late April.

We currently have a 2yr old Fox Red Lab who I am proud to say is pretty 'bomb proof', she is really well socialised, well behaved and adapts to change very easily. However, she has always been the number one, and can be a little bit jealous - but never nasty, just barges her way through to get a fuss if we are paying attention to another dog.

Nala is going to be involved throughout the whole process as we are getting a pup from the same breeders, so she will have chance to meet the pups before one comes home with us.

I was wondering if you had any recommendations / stories / advice for introducing the new addition to our current Lab - dos / don'ts, etc..
We are also looking for advice on the first night - Nala sleeps in her crate downstairs with an open door, and we are planning to put a second crate next to this for the pup. Do we close doors? Do we leave them open? Do we allow them to sleep together? etc etc.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Holly and Nala - and soon to be new arrival Safi
