So far Goldies training is coming along really well. She knows sit, down, wait(stop), come blah blah but i was in PAH yestrerday picking up a new clicker and was looking at the whistles. Id like to start using the whistle as presume it is clearer, sharper and a distinguished tone than voice commands. So we started yesterday armed with liver cake(very high value) in the garden pipping 3 short blasts for recall. She picked that up very quickly but is maybe already familiar with this with her previous life. Now for a dog that already knows voice commands is it best to teach with whistle and current voice commands then fade out the voice commands or just use the whistle? Any othher tips greatly received Yours...new whistle user
