Re: Is this a good idea??? It was lovely to meet Ezra at the end of last year, and see him so happy. You have done a fantastic job. If I was in Ezra's position, with an ailment that was only going to get worse and more painful, feeling confused and perhaps in pain because of growing illness and medications, and being in the happiest place I have been in my life..... I would beg you to please let me now slip away while I'm feeling as happy as I can be. I think you know for sure what the best thing is for Ezra, Frankie. It is the right decision and you have been heroic in fighting for him and his best interests. Your new puppy is lucky to be coming into a home where her owners will be so dedicated to making her happy and healthy. Thinking of you.... and I do so hope that the rescue centre makes the right decision tomorrow.
Re: Is this a good idea??? Sorry to be gross, but Ezra has just had diarrohea for the first time ever, and he had his first tramadol at 5.39 with his tea. Coincidence?
Re: Is this a good idea??? Oh dear Frankie. I guess any medication can cause upset stomachs. Is he same as usual? - as I said recently, Lilly lost power in her back legs with a tramadol injection and was spaced out for about 12 hrs and wasn't able to poo or pee. It may have made him loose control, or may have just upset his tummy.

Re: Is this a good idea??? Right it's been decided Monday, and iv made the appt for half 5 On a lighter note, Maisie is here. He has said hello through a divide and seemed ok, he is just very interested in her. Her and murphy were just wanting crazily lol

I've been keeping up with your and Ezra's story and, although I haven't commented much, I am absolutely certain that you have done, and are continuing to do, everything possible for this little man. Sometimes that means making that horrendous decision, and it's one most of us have to make at some point or another. Just know that everyone here is behind you and will be here for you to help you through. Big hugs x

Re: Is this a good idea??? Of course not, you poor thing Big hug. We all know what you've done to help Ezra. It is not your fault that he had a bad life till recently, got cancer, or even that he was chosen to come to the UK. It is not your fault that he is now at the end of his journey. What you HAVE done is give him safety, love, good food, training and normality for the first time in his life. You have been a good thing in his life. His life could have been all bad, but it hasn't been, because of you.
