    - he helps you clean out your fridge by picking up the crumbs at the bottom
    - he helps you defrost your freezer by licking off the ice
    - he snaffles a bug walking across the tiles
    - he hoovers up the veggie chucks that drop onto the floor
    - he separates my underwear from out of the big pile of washing on the floor (every single time!!!!)

That's how helpful he's been in just the last hour!!!!

Yes, very helpful! ;) Simba is often referred to as my portable wet/dry vac. He also excels at greeting guests and doing the pre-rinse of the dishes, too!

Don't forget their important role as official greeter. I was going to say guard dog but no one would take it seriously.

My husband wanted to change Molly's name to Pre-wash as she helpfully gives the plates a quick clean before the dishwasher gets to work.

I don't have to worry when the Grandchildren drop food, Molly is so diligent in cleaning up after them.

Charlie is a specialist, I think. He mainly does only 2 things (although dabbles seriously in rearranging the water irrigation systems in the garden too:(

Fetches stuff - any stuff, because if it's not nailed down you have obviously have forgotten it and want it brought to you, right? I mean, why would anyone leave oven knobs in the kitchen or shampoo bottles on the side of the bath? Mad...

Eats stuff - anything that's not on a plate, because if it's not on a plate it's going begging, right?
