I have just moved in with my daughter, they just had a new baby that’s five months old now and I brought my dog that I’ve lived alone with for three years. my problem is when I bring my dog in the room and I have the baby or someone else has the baby the dog barks and nips at the baby. it’s worse when I’ve got the baby so we have to watch him constantly. what would be the way to get rid of that behavior. I am the caregiver for my grand baby and it devastates me. I love them both.

    Hi
I would engage a force free behaviourist to come to the house and help you with this sooner rather than later. In the meantime keep them in separate rooms.

I would suggest keeping him in another room (baby gates are nice so he can still see you) whenever the baby is about until you can see a behaviourist.
