Re: Jet Fuel! Just got back. Both of us worked ourselves into the ground. I think the high protein kibble helped with Lady's energy levels but we'd both had enough by the end. Big mistake made on one drive with no dogs in a rape field behind the main line of guns. The gamekeeper got caught out thinking it was grass. 5 birds lost. I had to pull Lady out in the end otherwise she would have been exhausted before the afternoon session. Another Lab and an Irish Water Spaniel pulled out too for the same reason. All in all a really good day apart from the mistake with the lost birds.
