Purple is my fave colour. Both my boys have purple collars. Check out Wolters their colour range is epic! I also have limited slip leads from Tuffstuff in two shades of purple
Oh, I have a Wolters lead, that I've never used....in a dark blackberry colour. Can't remember now why I bought it. That might be my starting piece. Eeeek! Yay!
Ah, you are all so kind to share in the excitement! I've decided on a blackberry colour for her stuff.
Harley has a lot of purple - leads and collars. They look really good on them. Is Betsy a dark yellow / fox red or light yellow? So excited for you x
Aw, thanks. She didn't look at all red to me, it is extremely rare to get show line dogs in fox red (even though the modern fox red in working lines was preserved in show lines, or so I'm told and the red dog above is in her pedigree). The breeder is hoping she'll be dark and red-ish, but she didn't look at all dark to me. I'll have to wait and see as she grows.
There were quite a few Clumber votes! @heidrun did you think I'd snuck a Clumber into Julie's plans? Who else thought Clumber?
I did, and still do, think you'd love a Clumber for their personalities and working abilities. One day.........
If dogs live 12 years, and I get a new dog every 3 years, the number of dogs I have will stabilise at 5 by year 12 and I can keep adding one every 3 years until I'm 80....I can have at least 9 more dogs!
I have no photos! I'm so sorry - I will take loads when she comes home. Honestly, the interview for puppy owner was traumatic and there just wasn't the opportunity to take any snaps! Plus, actually, at that time I didn't know which puppy I could even have, and indeed left thinking I'd blown my claim I was interested in gundog training, what with Charlie legging it round the woods like the hooligan he is..... It just wasn't a photo taking kind of visit!
