Aw Obi Blue is so your colour ;D

When David took Charlie out this morning it was 1 degree, a bit cold so Charlie turned and headed for home. I merely suggested a coat for him and David said there is NO way he walking our big burly boy in a 'dog coat', so a long cold winter ;D

He will survive and has done for almost 3 long cold winters. What did dogs do before the invention of 'dog coats' ;)

It's arrived and we have tried it on and Lady thought it was the cat's whiskers! ;D

To be honest Labs don't need a coat for our winters in UK. They just aren't cold enough. Her "dressing gown" is for when she is sopping wet and has to sit still for a while in the cold ie back of car. I'm hoping it will also catch a lot of the mud when we get back from walks these dank winter days.

What a good idea. I often wonder why we painted our porch cream when it should have been mud coloured! I think a coat to mop the wet coat up when we get home might be just the thing.
It is raining very heavily here in North Northumberland today; looking on the positive side it gave us plenty of opportunity to practice our shake on demand command.

you would have laughed. Used the dog towel coat for real after our walk last night, then took it off and put it over my knee. Lady nuzzles up trying to get back under it to put it on again. ;D
