Hello and welcome from Joy (1 year old black lab) and me in West Yorkshire. Joy also used to frequently sit or lie down when we first started taking her out. Quite often I think she just wanted time to look at things and have a think about them, infact she still does this if she sees or hears something new. I just let her do it and keep talking calmly to her. It seems the more she gets used to things, the less it happens. A lot of people have commented that she is a 'thinker' and I rather love this in her. Perhaps your lovely little Daisy is a thinker too.

Hi and welcome. I'm a newbie to, only be on here a few days, still finding my way around and making mistakes. But everyone is lovely; of course we are like minded people, all with amazing dog stories to tell, tips to pass on and friends to share out lives with.

Welcome from me and Stanley in the UK! Stanley also hated walks as a pup and this topic always gives me a chance to post one of my fave pics :D

Ham, where about in Southwest? I'm from Taunton originally. Still got mum and sister there. Lovely part of the world, lot of history there for me.
