Hello- puppy is currently 18 weeks and we have been going on the tube a lot over lockdown to get her used to travel. She's been great, but now the reality being back to work & making the trip 3-4 times a week is setting in. She has got so familiar she is now bored with it and I'm struggling to entertain her on the 30 min journey. She is very bitey so when she's bored the attacks start on me and there's no escape! I bring a variety of toys and chews which are tossed aside in favour of my arms and legs. Any suggestions on games we might play or other ways to keep her entertained for the half hour journey?! The noise and facemasks make communicating hard too

No meal before the trip. When on the train give her a semi-frozen Toppl with goodies stuffed inside. Take a mat with you. First time make it relatively easy for her. As she gets older/better freeze the Toppl for longer.

Thanks Michael. I'll invest in a toppl & a mat. Hopefully not a stupid question but I assume the mat is to encourage her to lie down on it rather than any other purpose?!

Yes. And to save you from trying to clean the floor. And perhaps more importantly, protecting your puppy from whatever is on the floor.

You can also teach her to go to mat. A very useful exercise in its own right. Start that training at home so that when you wheel out the mat she says, "Hello old friend". And settles down with the treat. Good luck.

[You don't know how lucky you are. Here is Australia only assistance, and guide dogs are allowed on public transport].

Thanks Michael, and I will try to be grateful that she's even allowed on the tube next time she starts playing up!
