Giggling about Tatze......wish we knew what she was thinking when Keir got the blame for the octopus legs
No sign of them missing Mollie. Both are their usual selves except that Tatze has abandoned her chair and taken Mollies place snuggled with the pup. Tatze is very used to them coming and going and, I think, has shown Keir how not to worry. Plus, these dogs are bred for boldness and lack of anxiety over anything lol.
Keir is so beautiful Can you sabotage his puppy training so that he has to be rehomed to me?! Did you say he's a flatcoat x golden? Is that a cross that Guide Dogs have been using for a long time? I love flatcoats and have been really seriously considering one for our second dog but there are so many health problems in the flatcoat lines and such a short life-expectancy. Flatcoat X GR would be perfect for us. But of course breeders want to preserve their pedigree lines....
I was also wondering if Keir was feeling sad about Mollie. Good on Tatze for taking over Mollie's cuddle spot and being such a good big sister! Hopefully she's giving you lots of cuddles too in this first week of Mollie at Big School.
Yes, he is quarter Flatcoat- his Mum is GR x Flatcoat (Sonia) and his Dad is GR (Morgan). His Mum is black I think I can see Flatcoat in his long nose.
That's what I love! So dignified! (though flatcoats never really live up to their dignified appearance...) He's lovely, anyway.
Oh, that's sad. I've not looked into GRs at all, though I love them. I assumed that because they are more common that there would be more diversity in the gene pool and perhaps not so many health problems. That's a real shame.
