One of my favourite films of all time!

Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

I know - I love it. I nannied for a family for four years through university and it was one of the few VHS tapes they had that I would watch after the kids went to bed, so I must have seen it hundreds of times. I still watch it every year, the last two times in German - which is not QUITE the same experience, but still good. :D

Keir likes to sing for his supper!- he barks and barks when I'm preparing their food.

So, as soon as he starts barking, I step away. Each bark means a further step away from the food. Quiet means I continue preparing.

This makes meal preparation a long affair, hopefully it will pay off.

Luna did that for a while. I did exactly what you did, and it died out. During her extinction burst, I actually left the room every time she barked. Yes, it took a long time to get anything done! :D

Wow, that requires some serious patience. Reminds me of my first Rottie Duncan, who had a shoelace addiction. I just had to stop and not move until he lost interest in my shoes. For a week or so there, it would take me 20 minutes just to get across my (very small) kitchen!

He's strange - he doesn't bark at all otherwise.

He's like a Lab for food - constantly hungry and up for a treat.

(Hurrah! Bruce wasn't foody at all so other ways had to be found to train him)

    :)

I guess you're just a really good doggie chef, then. He obviously feels great appreciation for your work. :D

A tug of war ensued, Keir won :)

He's an intrepid little (big!) boy.

He has such a woolly coat. I want to snuggle into him.

I'm off on holiday tomorrow - I'm going to miss him!

There are more bags packed for the dogs than for me!

Are there any retired Guide dogs needing a home? I have just lost my most beloved Lab Drift, I do still have a five year old, the house seems to empty without Drift. I am too old to have a pup (as in I would die before the pup would) so thought an older dog would be better.

Keir and Mollie are at their boarders, they sent this photo - looks like Christmas may be early this year!
