She's not wanted her breakfast so I slowly spoon fed her and she did manage a fair bit,. She also nicked a biscuit so some things never change
Very glad to hear she nicked a biscuit. I'm taking that as a sign that you'll have a better day today.
Bleurgh. Cat poo is the worse. I have a gross cat poo story from yesterday if you don't mind me sharing it here @SwampDonkey, I think moo would find it funny. Sitting in an armchair with a crochet book in front of me, it's a slightly complicated pattern so I needed to have it on my lap for the lacy scarf I've got on the go. Cat jumps up on my lap, tempted to put her back down but see she's feeling a bit needy so attempt to work around her. After a few minutes I can smell something a bit gross, I nudge her along a bit to the other page of the book, and there on my pattern there are four very clear imprints of my cat's bottom in poo. Ughhhhhhh.. It sort of wiped off with some anti bac spray and kitchen towel, but there's one mark left. It is now going to forever remind me of that senile old moggy whenever I get to that page.
My kitten matched over my shoulder in the night leaving a sticky mess of cat litter and poop. She's long gone now but the realisation of oh no! remains.
I think we've come to the end of her tolerance for renal diet she just refuses to eat it. Oh and me have talked about it and it's making her unhappy so we are going to stop feeding it. I will speak to the vet on wednesday and discuss things with them. Sadly her visitor noticed and real change in her. She isn't the same cheeky little monkey anymore. She was happy to see mic and they played the blow on your nose game but it just wasn't the same. Mic could see she was in pain and withdrawn.i t wasn't just my imagination she has deteriorated
I'm so sorry she's going further downhill. I wouldn't worry about what you feed her, I think anything she wants to eat won't do her any harm. Sending love, and hope you are ok too. So difficult for you to manage when you are feeling so rough too. xx
Sorry to hear Moo’s not so good. I think you come to a point where you just have to let them eat what they enjoy and do what makes them happy for whatever time you have left together. x
Sorry to read this SwampDonkey. You are undoubtedly doing everything possible to give Moo every chance and a good remainder of her life. I've no doubt whatever you decide to do will be the very best for Moo. Sending all the best wishes in the world x
