Hello. The picture of the lab/terrier mix at the beginning of this Jan 1,2018 articles show a dog exactly like mine down to every detail. The article then shows various other examples of mixes and names the type terrier breed. None look anywhere near the dog at the beginning of the article. Any idea what breed of terrier the first dog is? The turned back ears and upward tail are distinctive traits and he has dew claws as well. Thanks for any info.

Hi there and welcome to the forum!

The top illustration in this article is a stock photo, and the dog's exact mix is not given by their library i'm afraid.

I' think it's probably a Labrador Stafforshire Bull Terrier mix, but I'm afraid that's just an educated guess :)

No idea what the dog in the picture is I'm afraid. My last dog was thought to be a staffy X lab but I always doubted it as I thought floppy lab ears were dominant and she had typical staffy semi pricked ears. Looking at the pictures in the article ears are quite varied so maybe I was wrong. Still wonder to this day what she was, wish I'd had her DNA tested, not that it would make any difference to anything but I'd love to know.

Actually, just looked again and apart from the unknown stock photo, there aren't any photos of actual crosses. Should have read it properly!
