Hi, I have a 13 year old chocolate lab and tonight I noticed a dark red lump on his lower gum. When I checked, his upper gum is bright red along the tooth line and there is some white stuff where one of the teeth joins the gum. We're obviously taking him to the vets tomorrow and I'm trying not to panic! I feel so bad we hadn't noticed before. I always check for body lumps, but I never thought to check his teeth. He seems in good spirits and is eating well. Has anyone else's dog ever experienced this? Thanks in advance for any advice.
