Hello everyone I am new to this and I have had willow for about 4 months already. She just turned 22 weeks and her ears are turning in a upright position. I have searched things up but am not sure. People are always asking me if she is mixed, should I be concerned that she is mixed?

Hi and welcome to the forum :) The only way to be sure that a dog is pure bred is to buy a pup that comes with registration/pedigree papers. If you've got doubts then the best thing to do would be to talk with the breeder.

Some people have had the experience of pups ears looking like they might take on an upright position, but then they don't, they start hanging down again. So, just wait and see. Despite having floppy ears Labradors are still capable of putting their ears into lots of different positions, so keep that in mind too :)

I'm sure that Willow is absolutely adorable and that you love her, regardless of her ears.

Whenever someone comes on the forum to ask about this, it is always around the same age. It seems that ears can go a bit squiffy during teething, for some reason. They pretty much always go back to normal afterwards :)
