    Hi Vespa,

While my Lab Sarge doesn’t do the “eat everything” thing, my Golden Retriever did. My vet suggested a muzzle might help curtail this behavior and it did. I used it every single time I took him out side for a walk or in the yard for a bathroom break. Got plenty of strange looks and comments, having a Golden muzzled While out on walks and frolicking around the yard, but it made a huge difference. After about 3 months, I carried the muzzle on walks and outside but only put it on if he started to pickup something inappropriate. Had to watch him like a hawk, for sure. That took another 3 months. But I am happy to say he isn’t trying to eat the world anymore.

Best of luck with your young lab.
