We have a 3 year old female lab called Ellie. We moved five months ago after living in our previous home for 4 years where she never pooped under the washing line. Here we have just as much space but she chooses to poo where I stand to hang out the washing (EXACTLY where I stand, if I hang out the washing on the other side, that's where I find the poo next time. I'm not sure whether to take this as an insult or a compliment!) I have sprayed vinegar which isn't doing the grass much good and hasn't made a difference to where she chooses to go to the toilet. I have also tried moving her on when I see her doing it but this seems to cause confusion for her. Has anyone else had a similar issue?
Hi Samantha. This sounds so irritating for you! Can you pop something like a puppy pen around where you like to stand (to keep her out of that spot not in it!) and leave it there for a couple of weeks to try to break the habit of using that spot, perhaps?
