Hi, we are new to the forum. We have a 7 month old lab, who has suffered an FCE spinal stroke. He was at daycare, happily playing, when he got up he was reluctant to weight bear on one side. By the time I picked him up he couldn't move his back legs at all, even though there was some feeling still. After a CT scan showed no breaks or slipped discs, we are left with an FCE, which might get better with time. after a week he is showing a very slight return of feeling. He is having hydrotherapy, and massage. Has anyone had any experience with this kind of problem. Stella
Hi Stella, welcome to the forum I'm sorry to read about your puppy's stroke, this must be a very worrying time for you. I'm afraid I haven't got any experience to share, but I hope he makes a full recovery soon.
