Labrador skin problems

    I have a 1 year old black lab , who was diagnosed with mites which are around his eyes, the ver gave him shots of ivermectin , but the results didn't last for long ,for some months he was ok , but now we are noticing flaky skin just like dandruff and today i noticed small wounds with lil blood pictures of which i m attaching with this thread, please help to know what is the problem my dog is facing and how to treat it[​IMG], https://imgur.com/a/n7qgUyQ .

    Hi @himanshu dubey, please take your dog to your vet as soon as possible.

    What is it - they look like what my dog has - several patches on his skin that look like scabs then hair comes out and leaves them looking like the photos - I went to vets and she said it was nothing and gave me some mild antiseptic - i'm not so sure, they don't seem to be getting better and I am finding more

    Yes, please go back to the vet. Or maybe a different vet for another opinion. If you can find out what the mites are he was diagnosed with, then you'll be in a better position to do your own research into treatment options and discuss your findings with the vet and have some influence in the treatment...
