Re: Lead walking I don't mind at all Jen it is true - the head harness is a tool for me and I don't care if I always need to use it because I have to be careful with my back/neck. I would rather use a tool and have a dog who walks nicely than continue the way I was having Harley pulling and be in pain all the time. I tried so many techniques and persevered, but couldn't go on any longer as my injuries were getting worse.

There are lots of reasons why people might use head collars, harnesses etc not just as a quick fix because they can't be bothered to train their dog to walk correctly on a collar. It will be a very long time and close to a miracle for me to walk my dogs without a head collar. I'd rather not but it's the safest option for all which is the important thing. ;D
