Re: LEGGED IT
... people in our village don't help with their negative comments, to the point I dread meeting them
Hi Helen, People are, it's said, either radiators or drains. Radiators are happy people who radiate their happiness to those they meet and make them feel happy too. Drains, on the other hand, are miserable people who take it upon themselves to drain the happiness out of those that they meet. I think you can guess which category the villagers fall into Anyway, the theory goes that you should try to mix with as many radiators and as few drains as possible. So, keep posting here and avoid the villagers altogether if you can - they're not worth your time or thoughts. 8)

I have had several bad comments from people as well, and there are dog walkers that will exit the park when barley comes on, and people who put there dogs on a lead when they see him only because barley has growled at there dog because it has either jumped up at his face or run up behind him to say hello and spooked him. There is however a really nice dog walker, that we have not seen for a while but we have not been going to the park at our normal times, but he has a boxer which the first few times we met up with barley growled at but the owner understood when i said that he was a rescue and he let me work barley with his dog to get him used to flat nosed dogs as he used to growl at the but now because of his dog and him himself barley is much better with them now, and he will even wag his tail and get exited when we see the dog as he knows that treats are coming his way
Re: LEGGED IT Hi UncleBob, now I like the radiators and drains theory, I will remember that. Thank you. Helen x Thank you also Annabelle for your lovely words. Helen x
