well my little star had first puppy class this evening and he was brilliant. I'm just the proudest mummy ever and could kiss him to bits. Class was pure puppy heaven for me to about fifteen pupps of various types all to cute. Lemmy was one of three labs but must admit was a bit taken aback to hear he was youngest but was huge compared too other two. ( note to self stop thinking of Clifford or digby biggest dog in world ) lol. Trainers are lovely and had amazing beautiful trained adult dogs of there's to help with class they encourage socializing dogs before class and then we went onto various nice tasks such as name and eye contact with distractions and other good doggy manners. Hour went really fast and treats went even faster! Glad they use only positive behaviour and are very supportive. Lemmy is now fast asleep no doubt dreaming of graduation or puppy prom. We got fish and chips on way home and I will happily admit to treating my star pupil to a fishcake for making me so happy.
Re: Lemmys first day at puppy school. That sounds like a great class! I'm seriously considering trying classes again (our first experiences weren't good ones and I ducked out). I know you're in south wales like me - where are you? (I'm between Newport and Chepstow)

Classes were something I've not done before have always trained the basics myself but as Lemmy is first dog I've had that seems really training motivated really eager to please. Also class teacher does agility too so thought I'd start From scratch with them.
