Licking his foot away!

    Pongo thanks everyone for kind words and licks! (He's feeling quite pampered.)

    It is 9.30am and normally he would have spent the last 20 minutes pestering us for his walk. He is still snoring on the carpet. I guess that shows the meds are doing something, anyway!

    I have a long walk circular from Tintern in mind. All off lead, right to the top of the valley, at least 2 hours.....
    Or there is a shorter and easier one around Beacon Hill (Trellech) that takes about 1 hour 15 min.....

    Thanks for asking! His foot is absolutely fine now, which is great. His only problem now is the steroid course he is on - we have to finish that (gradually weaning him off them) even though the foot is fine. He reacts badly to steroids - he's very jumpy, can't settle, whiny - so we have another week of that to get through before he's off them completely. But overall it's good news, no more paw-licking!

    Good to hear that Pongo's paw is better and he'll soon be back to his normal self
